Yes they have been excellent printers
I've always used an Hp Deskjet, the latest one being the Deskjet 990. I really liked it because it printed doublesided. However I needed a printer that I could send faxes on so I got a Brother MFC-420CN and the Hp was given to my husband. The only drawback to the Brother is it doesn't print double-sided.
I have an Epson 1800 and like it very much.
Could you elaborate on what you like? Thanks.---JM
I have a Lexmark Z42 at the moment, I say at the moment because the Lexmark printer refills are so expensive that I usally by a new printer with free refills. This works out the cheapest. A New printer with Black cartridge and Colour cartridges cost around £20 where refills are around £30. I do not do much printing so I refill the cartridges for a while but the printer heads are built into the cartridge so they are only worth refilling a few times.
I have owned three HPs and 1 Epson printer. Both Laser and ink jet. I love my Canon S800. I have had it several years. I think 4 or 5 and it still prints beautifully. I print photos and anything that I want to read off of the net. It has 6 separate ink tanks that at the most cost 11.99 each. You only have to replace the color that runs out. I am ready to move up to the Pixma (Don't remember the #) because it has 8 separate tanks and I have seen the photos. They are fantastic. For best results though, I strongly suggest not to use the inks that are not authentic Canon inks and to use the heaviest name brand paper. I have tried many different kinds. Canon Pro HP Premium, Kodak Ultima, (all glossy) Epson and Zerox matte. Canon is by far my favorite, but the Kodak and Hp are good too. I found no papers that were not brand names that were as good as these
I love this printer I bought it from USA
It is a wonderful machineMuy next will be an all in aone laser printer

Own HP deskjet 960c. Very happy with it.
I have two HP printers. The deskjet 712, on my son's computer works fine. The 3-in-1, however, died on me a couple of months ago. The other problem, of course, is that the cartridges are absurdly expensive. I could buy a new printer for the cost of three refills.
Had this for 3+ years. Peachy happy. Operation has been flawless - not even a paper jam. Cartridges a third less than an HP equivelant.
HP is good but there are many more good choices today other than HP for a considerably lower total cost of ownership.
Desktop laser print is no longer a new technology!

Owned for two+ years and have not had a single problem and I print approx. 500 pages per month + photos using any ink jet paper that has a brightness of 100 0r better.
I use an HP Deskjet 529 and have used it for years for my black and white printer. A Canon S820D for color and photographs.I am very satisfied with both
I use a Canon IP3000, HP 1340, and occassionally an Epson C40. For Photograde paper I buy 95 brightness or better paper. I buy all my ink jet printer cartidges online. I never buy brand name.

I've been using H-P deskjet printer for quite some time. They have always been good to me; from the 500 on up. These days, I'm using a 5550 on a G4 Powermac and a 6540 on the PC server in our home. Bullet proof, fast and I just love the paper-type sensor. But, most of all, the customer service and the website are excellent.
