I recently purchased Philips Go Gear mp3 player, I dont know the model # but its pretty small and thin/long, the size and shape of a cigarrete lighter. I want to upload my voice recordings to the computer, Ive installed everything but I cant figure out the procedure.. any advise?
i bought a phillips mP3 player recently and it has decided to hate me and stop working!when i turn it on, it says"please connect player to PC" so i go along with it and when i connect it,my computer doesn't even recognise my USB cable! what do i do?!?!
Usually, this means that something has gone wrong w/ the MP3 player software.
You can re-install the software for the player from the CD that should be included. If not, try the homepage and follow the instructions for FW upgrade, this way you will also get the latest software for the player.
I think voice recordings are usually in a format called WMA.
You can usually play it on Windows Media Player, if you're not sure, try downloading some WMA files from the web and trying to play it first on your PC.
