Burning tivo'd programs to dvd?

by Talenthound - 3/29/06 7:01 AM

I have a DirecTV Tivo series 2 and a Samsung DVD player/recorder. How would I configure or hook up everything so I can use the "save to vcr" function on tivo to download saved programs to dvd? I'm pretty clueless on this stuff so instructions for dummies would be great. In case it matters, I also have an Onkyo tx-sr602 receiver that everything runs through. Thank you for any help.

Hey Talenthound, I simply hooked up the DVD recorder from Tivo output to DVD recorder input using RCA cables. You can then use the "record to VCR" function on Tivo. Once you hit record to VCR you just have to hit the record button on the DVD recorder. It's really not that difficult. It was much easier than I thought it would be and I'm pretty much of a novice on this also.
