may be worth a look but dont buy not worth the 400 bucks when you can get a Canon or Sony for 350 that are much much better.
One of my requirements for a camera is its ability to take good photos of colorful sunsets, preferably in one of the automatic metering modes, without the sky's getting washed out because of the extreme value contrast between sky and ground.
This is an area that the reviewers unfortunately seem to neglect. It is also something that is difficult to test in a store.
Can anyone share their experiences regarding sunset photos with a 12X zoom camera?

The wife just got a Canon Powershot SD550. That thing is so tiny, but takes excellent photos. Next up is a digital SLR for me...I have the Canon 30D in my sights. It has everything the 20D has, but a larger LCD display which is what I was waiting for.
I have wanted the Canon photo printer that will print up to a 13x19 inch photo since the first time I heard they made one. I also like the idea of individual ink cartridges. I am getting by with a Lexmark 5150 , and aside from a few minor gripes , I have gotten used to the quality of prints this machine produces.I've owned this printer for over two years and before this was a Z-13 Lexmark !Anybody think the Epson printer, which also prints up to a 13x19 size print, is superior to the Canon ?

Looking to buy a camera bag for the wonderful Lumix FZ7 that I just purchased last week. And a wide angle lens for my Canon 350D.
If you are searching for camera bag, look for accessibility of it. I just bought a Tamrac Velocity 9 because it can be swung from one's back to front easily. However, the bag is deep and only can access from the top; that means one must remove stuff from the top to get items below.
Any recommedations?
I'm not getting evrything I want (and need) from my Adobe Photoshop Elements - time to update
I'll probably get a Canon EOS 20D--or, perhaps, the newest, the EOS 30D. I have a Canon G2 and lenses for my Canon Rebel GT (film). The 20 D and 30 D use the same lenses and even the same battery as the G2.
Nikon is making a new 105mm macro lens with their great Vibration Reduction built in. This lens should be great for close up work, giving at least 2 stops more hand held exposure range. It will work with the Nikon Digital SLRs or the Nikon Film cameras. I will have one in my bag.
After a spectacular flight to San Jose, California and back to Austin, Texas last week, I realize I need to have a camera that is legal to operate during the final approach, after we've been admonished to turn off all electronics. I also need to pay more attention to recharging my battery to the max the night before or get a backup battery for my little Pentax Optio WP.
I want to get a rechargable NI-MH battery and charger for Kodak Z740. I have rechargable AA's but want the single battery and maybe an extra. Just makes sense. That way, I would always be prepared.
I can't wait to draw and paint digitally!
I'll probably go for a good dedicated film scanner since I love doing slides. That, and eventually a good graphics card featuring ATI's AVIVO technology.
A good digital photo printer that can be set to capture original colours since my photographic interests are in nature. I would like one where I could print painting sizes for immediate framing.
