Okay everyone - I LOVE my phone setup!!
the Bluespoon AX2 is wonderful & with the SE z502a setup with Voice Dialing - I never have to fumble for my phone when I want to call someone while driving or shopping in the grocery store! I just push the ear-piece button - say my 'Magic Word' and hear the tone - then say the person's name I want to dial!
But - if I do make a call from the phone - I can still use the earpiece - but if I close the phone - the call disconnects. I am SURE it's because I have the phone to hangup & answer with opening the phone - but I don't want that to change - so I am living with it. Most the time when I do make a call from the Phone first (rather then right from the bluetooth device) - it's something I need to select options from the phone's number pad (like Cingular or Bell South) HA!
Well, I would recommend setting the phone to answer in manual (striking a key ) instead of opening / closing the phone. I am positive you'll have better luck.
The title says it all...and in any case, you CAN talk in bluetooth mode with the handset closed! For example, if you "manually" open the phone to punch the phone number in...as soon as you start to hear the ring on the line, close the handset! You can then talk for as long as you want, and when your done, just click your headset to disconnect! Also, if you click your headset and use the Voice command to dial, you never have to open the phone!
Just some insight from a Z520a user!
Please forgive me if you are actually talking about a different SE phone...but, I can't find one that is called the Z502a
