This guy and his buddies were touring NYC over the weekend, where they were greeted by a familiar sight on one of the video billboards ...
A Windows error message.

Make sure to read the comments.
Everyone was flaming everyone else saying
"Macs rule!"
or
"Macs suck! Windows rules!"
Oh, and the few comments about everyone being idiots and morons too. ![]()
But seriously, was there something in the comments?
It was a software error, not a Windows error. Just to be clear.
I did see that, and the resulting arguing about whether it was a Windows software error or an application error. Thanks for clearing it up Andy. ![]()
That it is a Windows machine. Besides, isn't Windows in and of itself still software? :P
I know, you meant 3rd-party software, but I have to get my jabs in when possible.

Back when half of the Boys from Boston (Vij) lived in SF (2002-04), there was an electronic billboard which was an IE 404 error. You could see while driving on 101-N, a little ways after the PacBell Park exit (I think near the Bayshore Blvd exit).
SF Buzz folks, Tomollica, you know if it's still there?
Oh... another one. NYC MetroCard dispensing machines sometimes have the same IE 404 error. That probably means the touchscreen interface is on top of IE (and on Windows). It's a wonder people haven't figured out how to hack into them.
Very funny, this is just another reason to get a mac.
Switch to Linux
