I'm planning on buying a PDA, and I am currently lookin at a few options (price doesnt matter):
1. Dell Axim 50v
2. Palm LifeDrive 4GB Mobile Manager
3. Palm Tungsten T5
4. Palm T/X E
5. HP iPAQ HP2490
I just cant seem to decide on which one i want. i'm looking for something that will be user friendly, powerful(processor +space), connect to the internet, check emails, use for MS Office.
Any help or past experiences shared would be greatly appreciated.
1. Dell Axim 50v
Nice. Get the wifi option.
2. Palm LifeDrive 4GB Mobile Manager
Pass. That 4GB will be eclipsed any day now. You can see 2GB SD cards today.
3. Palm Tungsten T5
Discontinued and we had issues with our custom software. Glad it's not on the market anymore.
4. Palm T/X E
The T|X is what I carry. The E2 is what we field 100's of. Both are nice, but give me the T|X.
5. HP iPAQ HP2490
Pass.
Bob
Thanks for the info....
Why would you pass on the HP2490?
If you had the chance between the Axim, or T/X or the E2??
None of these run Microsoft Office.
