Just purchased subject software but haven't installed yet. I sent a note to Iolo to have them identify any know conflicts with other software. The Iolo reply was to download and install latest version of software. Their reply really didn't answer my question regarding conflicts. Has anyone installed this software and had problems with it??? Any reply would be greatly appreciated..... I'm running XP Home with SP2 installed and all the current updates. Computer has a AMD +3200 processor, 1GB Ram and 160GB HD.

This program must of been created by the infamous Doctor Kavorkian for those who would like to assist their computers into the next life. After going round and round with their tech support at iolo.com as wella s their customer support, nothing but the simple conclusion that they do not care what you claim, they got your money and they figure that if you are so stupid and to lazy to do the work yourself you deserve to get ripped off.
No software company yet have I encountered will ever claim responsibility for an issue with it. This program does not play well with Trend Micro's PC-Cillin Internet Security 06 edition, you WILL get Tmproxy module errors, you will find Windows applications that require certain .dll files to work properly will come up missing those files. And because PC-Cillin uses prefetch file libraries to keep itself in the forefront of you systems protection SYstem Meachinc Pro see's those prefetch libraries as vulnerabilities and therefore will delete them all when you run the Total Care Option.
SO to all who have been ripped off as I have, welcome to the line to the computer graveyard.
Oh and by the way did I mention that System Mechanic pro also caused damage to several sectors on my hard drive when it froze up during a deep scan? Now I am out a 200Gb HDD as well.
