I have played first person shooters forever but none for the PC. I really dont care how old the game is but it cant hog system resources, my computer specs can be found here:http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=1561116&Tab=11&NoMapp=0&CMP=EMC-TIGEREMAIL&SRCCODE=WEBLET02L. I love Xbox Live so a great on-line feaure is a big factor.
Check out the new Enemy Territory coming out soon.
F.E.A.R.
Quake 4
Unreal Tournament 2k4
Counter-strike (Regular and Source)
Day of Defeat (Regular and Source)
Half-Life 2
I had a lot of fun playing Counter-Strike. There are probably a lot of people still playing it (online) and being so old, it can't be a resource hog.
Medal of Honor: Allied Assault was good, too.
Halo was fun too
