Its 4:3 & Got mine for 876 USD in the United Arab Emirates. The only prob I found with this set is it doesn't have VGA or RGB inputs, only one component.
Apart from that no problems whatsoever

My main TV is a 50" Pioneer plasma. I enjoy it a lot and is well built to survive a move from California to Illinois.
Bedroom TV is the high end Sony X series 32". This is a fantastic TV with a menu that provides for everything. This is an LCD model that I must admit I favor over the plasma.
I bought my Sony WEGA 55" in July at Circuit City. I also have a 1000 watt Panasonic Home Theatre system 5.1, Sony DVD/R-VCR and a HDTV/Recorder. I have HDTV cable plus a HDTV rooftop antenna. It's a great system.
Do you mean a SONY KD-FE55A20???
It's an LCD rear projection; not DLP. Nice HDTV.

Sony KDFE60A20 LCoS 60"
My wife would not let me buy the 60" because it was too big for our living room. I did get the 50" and I am still in awe... Wow! What a picture...
Panasonic 36"
It's about 7 years old and gets a great picture from my Directv set-top box.
My main tv is a 32" Sony Trinitron direct view. It is about 4 years old. Works nicely and produces excellent picture quality. However, I do want a new tv. I want something bigger and HD capable. My tv was made the year before Sony introduced HD to their Trinitron line!! ![]()
