Compaq Presario Doesn't Start Up!

by aerozeppelin - 12/25/05 9:47 PM

Help, I have problems with my laptop, Compaq Presario 2500.

It won't boot up; it only shows a blue screen saying this (I took a picture of it):

I think the only solution to solve this problem is to format the hard-drive. The message tell to you than a file is not there in system32. And if you can't boot Windows and go repair the file with the CD of Windows XP, you must format...

If you don't have important files on the hard-drive, format this last. I think it's the only solution ...

How to format your computer?

If you don't have any important files to back up, then find your Windows CD from when you bought your computer. Then stick it in the CD-ROM/CD-RW/DVD/whatever drive you have. Reboot your computer and follow the steps and you will have a fresh, newly installed Windows.
