ALmost sold on the zen now but i can't say no to the e200. ^gb of flash is more than enough for me. But,movies wouldn't be that good on it. How big exactly is the zen? TOo big to be portable(like in school etc...)

how big?

The Zen Vision:M has the same dimensions as the iPod video, except that it's almost twice as thick (0.7") as the 30GB iPod video (0.43"). The screen is 2.5", same as the iPod, but has a 252k color resolution, compared to the iPod's 65k resolution.

I think the e200 is marketed to compete with the iPod nano, and on the initial look it seems like an impressive player. The dimensions are similar to the nano's (once again this player is about twice as thick: 0.5" to 0.27"), and is priced inline with the nano's pricing: the 2GB and 4GB is equal to the nano's similar-capacity models ($200 and $250, respectively), but the Sandisk offers the 6GB at $300, giving the extra capacity over the nano. The color screen is larger also (1.8" to 1.5").

I'm not familiar with any Sandisk mp3 players in the past, however, and I'm not sure about the workmanship and quality of the e200. CNet states in their CES review, "The players, which are physically much more finished than SanDisk players of the past but, with price tags to match, will be available in March.", so I'm led to believe that Sandisk players had some issues in the past. But the flash memory is certainly a plus. Since both players are roughly the same price, I guess it depends most on your personal needs: if you are active, and would like the photo & video option, but mainly want to listen to your music, get the Sandisk e200. If you have a larger music collection, but also want to maintain a larger video selection (movies as well, not just music videos or TV shows), then the Zen Video:M is for you.

Hopes this helps!

acutally, on their new upcoming e200 player, Sandisk backed it up with a titanium finish to the back, for a more sturdy feel
