In a best case (though highly unlikely at this point) scenario, the PS3 would launch in late Spring in Japan. In this scenario, the earliest we would see it in America would be by the holiday season of 2006. We would be lucky to see it before 2007 in North America. I can't wait this long for HD Gaming. I am going to get the Xbox 360, which, from what I have been researching, is technoligically superior.
PS- Japanese models wouldn't work with American games.
iam adil panhwar please send playstation 3 product prise send
thank you
The Cowon iAudio 6 was a real killer in my opion. I think the company will grow massivly this year, especially seeing that they finally got the fact that they need id3 tag browsing and DRM WMA10. The Sandsik players will probably be good too, but won't have the quality the Cowon players all possess.
So iAudio 6 is my bet!

If we want to hear a particular song or watch a particular movie, we will be able to access it immediately via satellite at any time and watch it immediately from anywhere on earth with or without saving it for a monthly fee. It will be called "Satelliting!"
The advantages and advances in computers that put life at your fingertips will be the big thing for 2006. But the ability to tie everything together will be the real star, after all how many of us now count our music, video and photos by the gigabyte. Computers, TV’s and gaming consoles are all being made with HDMI inputs and outputs for a reason. The wireless USB hub is just the start.
I think the most talked 2006 "product" isn't a piece of hardware, but the competing high capacity DVD standards, HD-DVD and Blu-ray. Some of the rhetoric I have heard reminds me of VHS vs. Beta and DVD vs. DIVX wars.
I hear that both Toshiba and Sony are shipping products with the competing standards in 2006. Has Sony backed another dark horse (e.g. Betamax)? It should be interesting to see how it all shakes out.

After all the fuss about the next-gen format it's amazing and shocking to see that HD-DVD and Blu-ray have to be put in the "other" category. Wow. This format war will not go away during 2006 and is just starting to heat up with the release of new products in March. As the new players are released we will really begin to see who will gain the advantage.
Sound like the New Lego Mindstorms robot development kit is pretty impressive. I wouldn't mind getting one to play with...
I have been waiting for this announcement for over a year, since first getting an HDTV and HD cable service and being subjected to the cable company's horrible DVR. Thank you TiVo for finally getting this one out!
This is the year we saw our first demo of SED HDTV technology, and every review I've read said it blows all other technologies out of the water. Significantly better than plasma, LCD, and DLP. It combines the best in class picture quality of CRT with the thin form factor and large sizes of the other technologies. Toshiba will be releasing a 50" and 60" in late 2006.
This card fully loaded with music tracks would probably change the music and later the movie distribution.
The demonstrated TrustedFlash Gruvi Card was loaded with the latest album from the RollingStones fully available for playback and with 4 others albums available for preview and activation (i.e. purchase after preview would enable/activate the preloaded track).
Isn't great to purchase one album that could play in your cell phone, Pc, etc and have the option to preview and purchase at a competitive cost other music tracks you may like?

Us 'little guys' can only BOYCOTT all members of THESE organizations in the mean time:
The RIAA:
http://www.riaa.com/about/members/default.asp
Cruise that site thoroughly and find out what the RIAA REALLY are about!!! Along with their member list(s), pay close attention to the physical address given on the page where 'you' can ''Join the RIAA''.
The MPAA/MPA:
http://www.mpaa.org/home.htm
I only just found the MPAA site but am sure by what others in these message boards have said about it that it's just as bad as the RIAA. I'm going to check it out. I suggest you do the same.
EDUCATION/KNOWLEGE is power!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
THEN go and actually join the EFF:
http://www.eff.org/
to help fight the RIAA.
These sites will also be of interest to those who want the RIAA, and those like them, brought down:

About Patti Santangelo, the working mom of five kids being targeted by the RIAA:
http://search.yahoo.com/search?fr=slv2-&ei=UTF-8&p=Patti%20Santangelo
How to HELP her:
Join the p2net 'community' and donate to her cause. FIRST the RIAA tries ripping her off then her 'lawyer' does, leaving her destitute and still fighting ALONE! She's but one of THOUSANDS targeted by the RIAA...including MINORS! But SHE is the ONLY one so far to stand up to them!!!

If you can't contribute there then pass all this info along to all you can any way you can. Thanks @;}-
P.S.: If p2pnet's links don't work properly it's because they're changing servers. Just keep trying and trying until you get there. Their MAIN URL is:

I beleive this will be the most talked about product.
These are coming down in price so rapidly they are now a viable option for many people. I am particularly interested in the HDR HC1 by Sony, which sounds like a brilliant buy for under £1000. Chris
that will go with a 4"x2"x1" docking station with 2G of RAM built-in, a folding keyboard and a light/touch sensitive holographic screen
