I just got it a couple days ago. You go into "menu," then to "picture," then to "size." Even though it does I might take the darn thing back because the picture seems to be tinted at all four corners. Does this happen to you?
I have been researching two Sony Bravia LCDs -- KDL-V32XBR1 and KDL-32S2000. I had just about decided to go for the KDL-32S2000 until I saw all the rave reviews for the KDL-V32XBR1, so methinks I will go for the V32XBR1.
The prices online are heavily discounted as are the extended 5-year service warranties. The contract I am looking at includes on-site and power-surge protection. The shipping is free and there is no tax, which is also a big savings in my state.
Some posters do not recommend buying online and this gives me second thoughts and makes me feel insecure --however, when I run into a problem with an online purchase, I turn it over to my credit card company and they issue me a conditional credit and go after the seller....and there has never been one who got away.

Hi, I just bought the Sharp 37" 37D4U in NYC. I challenged Circuit City's price match. So I found the cheapest local store with a web store (B&H photo in my case). Printed out the page with their price ($2299) and took it to Circuit City. The lowered their price from $2799 to $2399. They have a 30 day return guarantee, which most places do not. So I jumped on it!
Hope that helps.
I just tried to use the price match and a coupon. Apparently circuit city does not allow this.
on the coupon, it clearly says "not valid in combination with any other offers". pricematching is an offer. no store will let you pricematch something for a ridiculous amount AND let you use a 10% off coupon. if they do...i'd shop there more often until they go out of business cause you can get some nice deals and they are obviously quite bad at running a business.
In September, Sony will be introducing their SXRD sets that have native 1080p and they will sell them as small as 46". I'm sure other companies will follow suit. If 720p or the current 1080i SXRD is fine with your needs, then the prices on these sets will most definitely start falling like rocks very soon to clear out inventory. Well, "falling like rocks" to the retailers typically means a $300 price drop.
