I have a question on SBC Yahoo! DSL

by esanchez7587 - 1/1/06 8:57 PM

When I first installed SBC Yahoo! DSL, I made an @sbcglobal.net account but when I tried to log in into that account when I load up SBC Yahoo DSL, it won't let me. What do I have to do to log in into that account?

DSL Secure Server

Go to the account set up options in outlook express and turn on the "my server requires authentication".
SBC uses a secure server and your e-mail account needs that option turned on.

My advice == stay away from VZ DSL.

a second to Wayne's question

SBC is pretty good at getting the bugs out of a new install. I even called them when I got a new PC and again when I installed a wireless router. OEM should always be the first call you make.
