Personally, I'd go with version 5 on the Kaspersky site, but thought I'd let you know about the trial beta that's available too. There's the possibility of a quirk or two with the beta version. Of course, that's the nature of beta software.

3. mc afee sucks
4. trend micro is okay along with the others
Avast home is good enough all pro has is the PUSH updates and script blocker which are pretty useless

The Euorpean finalists won't be announced for another month. I suspect Kaspersky will be near the head of the hunt when they are announced.
