I am looking to buy my girlfriend a new digital camera for christmas. I am sure you are sick of hearing people ask for help on this subject...but I am desperate haha! I was wondering if someone could direct me to a camera that is under $200 and is atleast 4MP. I have found the Polariod izone digital cameras taht are about $150 and are 5MP...and there is a cheap Samsung that is 4MP...but are there any others? Please let me know, I would greatly appreciate it.

Things have changed since last year.
There are several digital cameras under $200:
Canon - A520
Fujifilm - A345, A350
Kodak - C330
Nikon - 4600
Sony - S40, S60

I bought a Polaroid izone 550 and I love it. It is easy to use and the pictures look great. Also, it double as an MP3 player! The only downside of this camera is the LCD is very grainy at night, but that is par for the course.

Sony has come out with a surprise.
Sony is not noted for low cost cameras.
They are noted for having a weak flash and poor low light performance.
That is why the S600 is a surprise.
It sells for $199, has a very strong flash (23 feet), and has an ISO setting of 1000.
Equipped with a 6 meg image sensor and a 3X optical zoom.
