Motorola E815

by pangelpip - 9/16/05 4:31 PM

i just bought a Motorola E815 - i do have a few questions!

1. Do these really play FULL songs as long as you have a memory card? If so how many songs about would it fit with a decent size card? and what kind of card does it support?
2. do you need a special head set to listen to audio?

thanks!!

mp3's on the E815

As long as you go out and purchase the Transflash Card for the phone you can play full mp3's on it without a special headset. The speaker built into the phone has great sound quality. The only hard part is trying to get your hands on a Transflash card in decent time. I checked all the local electronics stores this weekend and they were all sold out. They're super popular right now. I just went ahead and ordered on off of Best Buy's website (128 MB for $25) and it's backordered until October 1 when it will be sent out. I thinking you will be able to crop mp3's to use as ringtons too if you have the know-how.

E815 TransFlash

I just picked up this phone on Saturday. Ok, there is only one "size" of Transflash card if you talking phyiscal size. So if you want to order one, just say Transflash, they will know what you are talking about. As for memory size, 256 is the biggest one you can get. I just got on about an hour ago, it works great, picked it up for $40 at Circut City. I have about 30+ songs loaded at the moment, but I left some space for videos and what not.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

Rip them using MediaMonkey to MP3. It takes time....
