Rhapsody to go - is anyone happy with their MP3 player?

by wiggy409 - 12/18/05 9:10 PM

Hi - I'm trying to decide on an MP3 player which SUBSCRIPTION compatible with Rhapsody to go (not just download compatible). The Rhapsody website only lists a few players including IRIVER H10, 320 and 340, Creative Zen micro, RIO Carbon and Dell DJ's and Samsung 920 and 999. Does anyone have an MP3 player and uses Rhapsody to go and is happy with their player? Just as I was about to go for the Iriver H10, I notice problems are posted here, and I was worried about it. The RIO Carbons are really cute and inexpensive, but I wanted more GB's - hard drive - and they only go up to 6 GB's. The Samsung 920 is getting posts about terrible problems and incompatibility with SP2. Does anyone use Rhapsody to go, and which player do you like?

iRiver H10 and Sandisk Sansa m260 work fine with Rhapsody

I am very happy with both players. When you read about players in Forums, you will always find out many things negative about virtually every player. Remember that the forums are biased towards the negative: people happy usually don't post. So you have to look for patterns and themes which indicate a poor player. The iRiver H10 went through some trouble during a firmware upgrade, but it's been resolved. I would recommend it. It's a very good unit.

Thanks - I'm buying the Sansa 260

I'm buying the Sansa 260 for my husband for Christmas and will look for a hard drive player for myself after the holidays - I really need a large capacity player, so maybe the Iriver H10 but the highest capacity is only 20 GB. So I'll wait and see. I really like the new Creative Zen Vision review - but will it work with Rhapsody? I haven't gotten an answer from them yet - but Amazon says it is "Plays for sure", and lists Rhapsody to go on the description of the device. The best one in my research has been the Cowon IAudio X5 - but that one is not compatible I guess.

Anyway, thanks for the feedback about Rhapsody to go - do you have any tips regarding the License backups? Is it pretty straightforward (unlike what I've been reading). :-)

Have a great holiday!

I have a creative Zen Sleek, and it's great, I don't use the subscription thing because why RENT music when I can just download it FREE?

but if that's your thing, hey go for it
