I have a 40 gig HD of which 10 of it was allocated to Windows XP Pro and the remaining was alloted to other programs.
I re-installed my Windows XP through clean install(drive C) but I don't know how to re-register my programs (drive D) with the OS. Reinstalling all these programs will take time. Any help?
Thanks a lot.
There is no such procedure that works. This all started in 1995 with a new OS that implemented the registry, shared DLLs and more.
The list of what would need to be done for each program is unknown and then you get to fix each one. No "easy button."
