If you consider the picture quality,

choose either Fuji F10 or F11 zoom. The camera is quite good regard the picture quality with the 2.5 inch LCD screen. I don't really mind the size since the point&shoot digital camera isn't that
huge different unlike those of DSLR.

...small, stylish, elegant, unconventional, cool....

Besides the Casio's Ex-Z57 and Fuji's FinePix Z1, have you checked out Sony's DSC T series, or Canon's SD30 Digital ELPH (also called Digital IXUS i Zoom) ? They have a choice of colors too. Just pick one ! No camera is "perfect", so they are all "better". Don't be tempted to get two !

You should be comparing to the Fujifilm Z2.

It is supposed to be available in November.
Much improved LCD and ISO setting to 1600.

Here is comparison of specifications:

go for the casio

casio uses SD cards whereas the fuji uses xd cards.
I have a laptop with a SD slot, so it makes it easy to transfer photos.

have you held them? go to a ritz camera and they'll let you hold one and even take photos and print them for you. you can compare that way. the z1 looks cooler though.

go for the casio.

Which

by snapshot2 Moderator - 11/15/05 1:56 PM In reply to: Wich one? by bravinator

Your first message mentioned video.
The Casio shoots 320x 240 at 15 frames per second.
The Fujifilm shoots 640x480 at 30 frames per second, and 320x240 at 30.

.......................................................

Which one I would pick would not be of help to you because I would not pick one for the same reasons as you.

Either one would be a good choice.

Toodollainc mentioned getting your hands on the cameras.
That is an excellent thing to do.
Many people make up their minds after they get the cameras in their hands.

I have a: SANYO XACTI and love it!

by Tara Diddle - 11/16/05 5:51 AM In reply to: Right good and fashionable camera? by bravinator

I guess the Sanyo is the underdog of Cameras, never see them advertised, but I found this one on Overstock.com, is a Camcorder/5MP digital Camera/webcam, uses only SD cards, no tapes, I hate tapes, anyway, it is great all around, zoom/sound/resolution/user friendly and smaller than a regular digital Camera, even has a light for night recording.
Now that I've praised it, I hope it doesnt crap out on me (haha).
Anyway, its a great Camera and i love mine!
Tara
