Problem Uninstalling Backup MyPC
by jim154 - 11/8/05 12:30 PMWhen I try to uninstall Backup MyPC I get the following messages:
"C:\DOCUME~1\Owner\LOCALS~1\Temp\pft235.tmp\"
"The feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable. Click OK to try again, or enter an alternate path to a folder containing the installation package 'BUMPENU.MSI' in the box below."
I tried with the installation CD loaded and get the same message. Cannot find the bumpenu.msi file anywhere on PC or on install CD.
I use Windows XP/Home Edition, SP2. The version of Backup MyPC is 4.85
Any ideas? Thanks...

Which uninstaller are you using? Is this the Roxio version of Backup MyPc? Try re-installing over the current install. Need more info. Having a hard time tracking specific error. Are you sure you quoted error EXACTLY? Let us know.
