can you burn a divx movie onto a dvd-r and have it successfully play in a dvd player?
I copy the file I created onto CD/DVD media and put it in my DivX DVD player. It's quite nice.

In facts, most will not. I have a Philips DVP642 that play divx, about ($60-70), and you burn the divx files as data files.
is there anyway to play my divx movies on a dvd player or will i just have to watch on the pc all the time?
You can convert the DivX files to video files and then burn them to a dvd-r. Lots of applications out there, DVD Santa, WinDVD. Try Google, you will find lots. Most give a free trial. I use DVD Santa, very simple, 2-3 clicks and you are done.

and it said that theres a water mark. is that just the logo in the corner of the movie?
The demo lets you try it and when you pay up, the watermark is gone.
Cheers,
Bob
