The model too. Here's why. If the machine is too old you need to find a PCMCIA Wifi card since PC-CARD won't work (ever.) Also, the lack of a 98se CD is trouble since it could be asked for during the install of the WiFI card. At least you can find those on ebay.

i am not sure if it has a pcmcia slot....
You could always by usb adapter. They can be found on ebay pretty cheap. Use one on one of my desktops to access our wireless network with out having to open up the case.
