(running XP Home SP2) the first entry in Control Panel/Add Remove Programs....there are no keyboard symbols for some of this so I'll try to describe......starts with
2 arrows pointed to the right (kind of like >>, except with a shaft to create an arrow look) THEN a registered trademark, you know, a capital R with a circle around it, THEN the letters EENE and THEN a division symbol. I hope you can get a picture from that description. I've Googled EENE and got nothing. When I try to remove it a box with many ????? comes up and a blue number like 87400 (the number changes on different attempts to remove).
Has anyone experienced this or have any ideas. I run Adaware, Spy Subtract (Trend Micro) and SpyBot.
Thanks for any insight into this strange thing.
Found with google.com and free, you can remove the entry there.
Remember that this is "just a list" and corrupt entries are just corrupt.
