Yahoo problems

by dp273-condor - 9/26/05 5:53 AM In reply to: Yahoo is having problem lately... by Gakada

I hear ya - thought I was the only one! I use Yahoo mail for my business address. When I try to log in some mornings - I receive the "cannot find" error from both Firefox and IE. Extremely frustrating - especially when Yahoo tells me there's no problem. I'm trying to be patient, as I know they're upgrading their systems, but if they don't shape up soon - I'm switching to my Gmail account!

No problems here...

by deepend - 9/26/05 7:31 AM In reply to: Yahoo problems by dp273-condor

Seeing these postings, I thought I'd double-check my own Yahoo account (.co.uk) even though I'd already received mail today too. I have to say things are working as normal here.

Via a domain name, which I use for my email address, I have set this up to forward mail to three different webmail accounts including Yahoo, which is my main account. This at least allows me to still retrieve email should one account fail.

(I know this might seem too much for some but it works for me). :)

no problems here either however...

Everyone has to remember we are talking about yahoo. A free web based email program. It's going to have it's glitches for sure. I've been told my password is wrong several times over the years but a little later it works. I've had an entire ID yanked but got it back. If you're not happy, simply go elsewhere. There are lots of web based email programs out there. Personally, I'll take yahoo over hotmail any day. :-)

Simply--Yafool sucks

by blueyes123 - 9/26/05 9:10 AM In reply to: Not receiving any Yahoo mail. by Harv

Six months ago my account was apparently cancelled. I emailed and asked why about 5 times. Finally got a reply after three weeks stating that they don't have to explain cancellations. Lost all my saved mail. Opened a new account and receive more spam than all other accounts combined, have to wait at times 20 sec before their system responds---even with broadband. I had only used the account to receive mail. So you tell me--why would anyone use this @#$%% site?

(NT) You should use Yahoo instead of Yafool, LOL

I'm not getting mail either

by bkay - 10/3/05 6:00 PM In reply to: Yahoo e-mail by unclecharlie_95112

I'm not getting any mail at one yahoo account. The other is working fine. They do not respond to my emails and there is no phone number to call. This is my business address and I could be missing business. Anyone have any ideas?
