What kind of CPU (central processing unit) runs your computer?
AMD (what type and speed?)
IBM (what type and speed?)
Intel (what type and speed?)
Motorola (what type and speed?)
Other (what type and speed?)
I have no clue
The one I'm typing this message on has an AMD Turion ML-28 (1.6 GHz Athlon 64 for notebooks). My main desktop system has an AMD Athlon XP 2600+ (2.13 GHz, 266 MHz FSB). I won't include a full catalog, but I do also have an old beige G3 with a 300 MHz G3 PowerPC CPU, probably made by Motorola.
Main desktop AMD Athlon 64 2.2 GHz
Secondary desktop Intel Celeron 2.8 GHz.
Laptop Intel Celeron 2.2 GHz.
Several old computers, mostly not in use except for my PII(?)333 MHz (occasionally in use - mainly for old files that I look at - but don't find worth transferring).

(should have added HT and 1600 FSB)
don't see any way to edit posts here?

AMD Athlon 64 3200+ @ 2.2GHz
AMD 2800+ bought a couple of years ago
A 3200+ Whinchester and a 2100+ Sempreon.
Dual PIII 933 MHz - on an OR840 workstation motherboard I got for 20 bucks. I love cheapass upgrades.
Also, an Intel 1.1 GHz Celeron on my laptop.
Homebuilt, P4 3.2Ghz. Two others I built have 1.4Ghz Athlon and 1.33Ghz Athlon.
Pentium II 233MHz, III 333Mhz, M 1.6GHz.
I have an AMD Athlon 64 3000+ "under the hood" of my machine.
