I recnetly upgraded my iPod earbuds to Sony's MDR-EX71SL/WK. They are good but i expected more bass and better sound isolation. My father told me that i should go for full size headphones because i will never find an excellent bass on earphones. Is he right?
I've been looking at full size headphones and earphones and i've rounded up these 4.
1. Etymotic Research ER-6i Earbuds for iPod
2. Shure e3c
3. Bose Triport headphones
4. Sennheiser HD 280 Pro
What i'm looking for is:
1. Good Bass
2. Good noise isolation (better than sony's)
3. Portability (If my final choice is full size headphones i would like them to fold up for storage)
Any suggestions or help is appreciated
Thanks
best in the business. Great isolation, Bass, sound quality. oh and they are earphones.
I don't think so. I can't even verify if they're any good; I've never heard of them.
The Shure's are the best phones mentioned yet... insofar as sound quality and sound isolation. However, you may not be satisfied with the bass.
Do not buy the tryhards(triports), they suck!!
Just ask over at head-fi.org
P.S: I would get the Sennheiser PX200 or the AKG K26P for closed headphones or the KOSS KSC 75s for open headphones.
