.XXX Domains

by wonsil - 8/19/05 7:47 AM

Oh come on. The ACLU is also against the .XXX domain - hardly a Republican group. Their point is that eventually the politicos will REQUIRE all ''adult content'' to appear in the .XXX domain. OK, what's adult content and who decides? Will James Kim's Anchor Desk column on the ''Top Ten Sexiest Products'' have to appear on cnet.xxx? Get off of the emotional politics and put your thinking cap on.

.XXX domains should not be created until it would be required that all Adult content be on a .XXX domain. People would be naieve to think that adult sites would actually move from their domains to a .XXX domain. If they aren't required to move, then adding a .XXX dmoain will only multiply the amount of adult sites on the web.
