CD player w/ digital input

by blindsniper - 8/18/05 10:24 PM

Well, my old cd player was stolen one day, and I been w/o any noise in my car for like six months now, so I finally am really gonna look now. I was, however, wondering, in particular if there was any cd/radio that had a digital input that I could plug an mp3 player into. All of my music is on my mp3 player, and that's like 12 gigs, and that's a lot of cd's. Anyway, if there isn't such a thing (I don't believe there is for a reasonable price or even at all, but it's worth a try) I would then like to know what you guys think the strongest FM transmitter is (you know like an iTrip, except not for iPoo only). The thing that it would need to work for is an iRiver, because it, well, lets just say there's more to an mp3 player than its looks.

So, if there is no cd/radio w/ digital input, what is the strongest FM transmitter that isn't iPoo only?

Thanks for the Help Guys

You're in luck

You are in luck, as many aftermarket stereo head units include an auxiliary input right on the front panel. All you will need is a 1/8th inch male to male adaptor cable to hook your MP3 player up to the head unit. Of course, you won't be able to control your MP3 player from the head unit--it will only amplify the audio coming from your MP3 player. You will need to use your MP3 player to select songs and control playback. Many Aiwa units include an auxiliary input.
