Ok, I'm right in the middle of cleaning out my home office for the first time in years, and I've found some remnants of non-funcional PC. There's an old HP system who's motherboard broke, I've got the case and board, having used the Hard Drives and cards in the replacement system. There's a second defective Motherboard from a different system as well.
Basicly my question is, what options are there for Recycling these old and broken parts? I've heard plenty of horror stories about what PC components can do in a landfill, so what are my best options for disposing of these old components?
I live in Saratoga Springs in Upstate New York in case any suggestions are location based.
