I want my money back from Alienware!!
by halcyontib - 8/17/05 4:40 PMI am sure I am just one of the thousands of people who have been screwed by Alienware. And I have heard about how hard it is to get justice in regards to returning computers.
I am specifically interested in hearing from people who have successfully gotten their money back without being charged the restocking fee. I am considering disputing the charges with the credit card company. I am less interested in theories on how to get money back as opposed to actual success stories.
So please post if you have gotten your money back from these swindlers.
(I have about the same sob story as everyone else regarding my laptop. Someone needs to do a class action law suit against these people.)

I don't trust any of those people! I personally think they are in the United States, to see how much money they can screw the American public out of! If you want to get any type of action, file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and also with the Federal Trade Commission. If enough people complain about this "consumer rip-off" company, hopefully, we can get them permanently shut down. If you will go to yahoo.com and type in Alienware Sucks" you will notice there are over 244,000 complaints. Other search engines have quite a few also. I am sorry for your aggravation with this company, but please go to the BBB and FTC and file a complaint. Then, if you are contacted by anyone else, please refer them to both places as I have done. We have hired an attorney, and suing Alienware for fraud and consumer protection. Our laptop gets so hot, it has discolored the top of the notebook itself!

Do not delay with the credit card company. EVERY DAY YOU DELAY makes this less likely to be your avenue of recourse.
