Which Ultraportable: Averatec 1000, Fujitsu P, Sony VGN-T?

Hi! I've been obsessing over which ultraportable notebook to buy for about a year now, and I've finally narrowed it down to:

-Averatec 1000 (4.75 hr battery, ~$1300)
-Fujitsu p7000/7010 (5 hr battery, ~$1500)
-Sony Viao VGN-T series (6 hr battery, ~$1800)

I'm a student with back problems who's on campus (and online) up to 8 hours a day, so I need something light & long-lasting. I don't want to blow my money, but I'm not as concerned aboutt price. I just want to get the best bang for my buck. Any advice on which of these models would be the best choice? Thanks!
