I just got a new cell phone, and want to sell my old one but do not want to do it on ebay. Has anyone had experience with the web sites that offer to buy your phone back? SellOldCellPhone.com is offering $70 dollars for mine and I would like to try it, but wanted to ask here first for any personal experiences
Thanks in advance for any help you can give me. - Anne
not sure what they offer, but I'm pretty sure they buy back, They also have the best prices I have ever seen on accesories, ect. I have purchased several things from them, and have had excellent results with everything from faceplates, to batteries.
thanks for the help. I appreciate it!
What cell phone is it?? .. I have sold many cell phones and they have been for about 5 dollars each or 6 but $75 sounds like alot but if you are selling a $800-$1000 phone it would be about $70 from some sites i checked. But pesonally I think you are better off with ebay beacause if it sounds like a very expensive phone you could probally get more and there is a site called wwww.cellforcash.com and they never sent my money so i dont recommend them. But ebay you could set a it to start at $75.00 and you could get more than the company that is offering you 75 bucks.
Good Luck,

Thanks for the information. I need to check and see which website I ended up using. My phone was a Tmobile Blackberry 7100t. There were a ton of them on ebay when I searched. I chose a website recommended by PC Week. I have no ebay selling experience, so I took the path of least resistance, but we will see if they give me the cash. Thanks again. - Anne
I sent two phones off to the address posted on selloldcellphone.com because they offered the best price and to refund shipping if received within 5 days. I sent delivery confirmation, priority mail. I have not received confirmation or any money. I know the package was delivered by tracking the postal id number. Tried the phone number listed and no reply.
Let me know if you used this website and if you had any luck receiving a payment. Thanks
I also sent off two cellphones. I did this on about 8/20/2005. Here we are 9/24/2005 and I got the package back to me. It had aparrently been opened and nothing was done with the contents. The package was sent back to me by them Priority Mail, with NO explaination. The order status for this order on their web site merely shows ''canceled''. Visiting their site now and I could once again go through the motions of selling the phones for the same price that was originally offered. Is this some sort of scam or what?
