I have been using different versions of ccleaner for over 2 years.
The registry checker on it is also great. I have used a few cleaner but nothing as good as CCleaner.
(Very easy to use)

Yes you are correct

Good Luck

Registry cleaners are vital

by lancre - 7/29/05 9:01 PM In reply to: Best registry cleaner? by Marie Boyer

I swear by Registry Mechanic. I've tried others but this one is not only efficient but so easy to use. It makes a backup and has a restore function but I've never had to use it yet. I update and run a scan after Start Up while doing other work online and after installing and uninstalling. I wouldn't be without it.

I agree -I've tried numerous of the cleaners mentioned with varying rates of success but Registry Mechanic is a very professional piece of software and it certainly works for me.

Best registry cleaner

by viks76 - 9/3/06 3:39 AM In reply to: Best registry cleaner by jjneethling

the amound of resources that Registry Mechanic consumes is enormous:

One may have not heard much of a little known Registry cleaner called Tune-up, but this has worked wonders for my computer: I would very strongly recommend this software to any Home system. It is a multi-purpose software and have no regrets of installing this software.

I've also tried many system mechanics/registry cleaners and so far Reg Mechanic seems to be the only one that does it's job without stuffing up everything else, which is what System Mechanic did.

Reply to Marie re Registry Cleaners

Registry Mechanic is the one 4 me for all the reasons I have posted in a reply elsewhere today. You might like to also take a look at the latest version of Ashampoo Win Optimizer Platinum 2. They are both excellent and both come with a 30 day Money Back Guarantee. Registry Mechanic also sets up a Restore Point before removing anything and gives you lots of detail without getting confusing. Good luck!

Now download JV16with the manual-Do A Google TO FIND IT --you can get the trial version and in the Software manager
right click and delete the rest of Norton files AND Other programs you thought were gone. Then use the
REG/CLEANER in JV16 NORMAL mode only--REBOOT AND WATCH YOU SYSTEM FLY!!!
