VPN Novice

by cnetbugsmenot - 7/28/05 10:40 AM

Hi: I'm trying to set up access to my office. GoToMyPc is too slow and clunky, so I'd like to set up a VPN. I've got DSL with dynamic IP at the office, and Cable with dynamic IP at home. Is there a simple hardware or software solution these days, such as VPN capable routers, and can I do that with the dynamic ip at both ends? How in the world would they find each other.
Thanks!

Some of the higher end D-Link, Belkin products I know. But if it were my office I'd go for something more office oriented like Sonic Wall call and ask how they deal with dynamic IPs. I seem to remember that the D-Link had something for that, like it could dynamically update a DNS server. Don't know much about it
