do you not know what ActiveX is, and what it does, and why it is the sole cause of all known browser hijackers and is the staple of IE and not Firefox, it took you all day to rid of huh, hmmmm lets see add/remove and click yes to the profiles, gone! gee, that takes about 30 seconds....you related to a turtle bro? ''virus ware'' huh? hmmm, ok, let us just see what attacks IE with the ever so brillian ActiveX, vs Firefox, IE is swiss cheese, so many holes that require patchs and by the time a new hole is opened. dso exploit, remember that one? not to mention, because of its hand in hand with windows itself the entire computer is at risk, througn media player, through OE, through notepad....''eons behind'' (love the spelling on that btw) look dude, you are so full of something that you dont even know it, firefox puts out an entire new browser version when a flaw is discovered, not just a simple little itty bitty patch, grow up!
note to the forum mods, im sorry, but i just couldn't let this one pass without responding to this crud!
I've installed on Firefox on so many computers, I've lost track. Any friends who call me over for help, get their browser changed. And guess what? I don't have to go back and fix their machines!
Home, school, work, and play -- I've switched them all, whether they use 98SE, Me, 2k or Xplode. No problems here.
Your PC may have already been infected. I use Firefox with no problems, as do most others. Hope you have plenty of security.
Good Luck.
Larry
Firefox is far from being "virusware". I have used Firefox for many months without troble. Firefox is what a lot of people swiched to. Also i'm very happy with Thunderbird too. Many people have made the swich to Firefox and are glad they did. Trust me, I was too. After getting so anoid of popups because of spyware, I desided to swich and man was I better. I now call IE the "amacher" browser. Probibly it was some spyware and "virusware" that you had before.
