Windows XP: My Windows XP takes forever to start up.
My Windows XP takes forever to start up.
by VERNLULU - 7/22/05 5:02 AMI know I probably have way too many processes that start up when I start my computer, that it why it starts slow. My question is which ones can I safely remove from the start up process? How would I copy and paste my task list of processes into this forum, so you may look at it? I am afraid of removing something that would hurt my computer. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Donna, you need to download it http://www.download.com/Quick-Startup/3000-2086_4-10386378.html?tag=lst-0-1 You should figure out which process to keep. If you made mistake you can undo you mistake by enable a process. You also add other programs to startup like Firefox . After you download it you can export startup processes to a notepad therefore you can copy and paste process here in this forum.
