My Windows XP takes forever to start up.

by VERNLULU - 7/22/05 5:02 AM

I know I probably have way too many processes that start up when I start my computer, that it why it starts slow. My question is which ones can I safely remove from the start up process? How would I copy and paste my task list of processes into this forum, so you may look at it? I am afraid of removing something that would hurt my computer. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Donna

This is Quick Startup program that would make XP boot faster. It free and has no expire date. Donna, you need to download it http://www.download.com/Quick-Startup/3000-2086_4-10386378.html?tag=lst-0-1 You should figure out which process to keep. If you made mistake you can undo you mistake by enable a process. You also add other programs to startup like Firefox . After you download it you can export startup processes to a notepad therefore you can copy and paste process here in this forum.
