Inhouse antena boosters

by RdRunner - 6/30/05 11:49 AM

I have a problem with reception inside my house. The signal is too weak and in the basement where the media center is, the signal is non existent.

Does anybody have any experience with inhouse antena boosters? I have seen them on the net but not sure if they are effective and what to look for, some of them go for $400+ dollars.

Thanks
PS: I have Cingular so GSM is the protocol.

ebay is listing a product called "Cell Antenna" under lots & wholesale. I saw your question, and intended to ask the same one about this product in particular.

Anyone know if they work? Which brands?

you might want to try cell phone signal booster from a company called wireless extenders. A friend of mine bought one for $299 and he says it works great. He is now able to make a cell phone call inside his house.
