So I have enough to buy a 4 gig Ipod Mini or a MPIO Fl350
Which one should I get?
I like the MPIO because it is really small and nice
I like the Ipod because of its storage.
If you are comparing those two mp3 player, it's like apples vs. oranges.
1. What kind of music files do you have, which music site do you use (iTunes, buy.com, msn music, etc.)?
iPods are very nice, expensive, have a nice interface, but don't play WMA's or protected WMA's(buy.com, msn music). MPIO don't play iTunes music.
2. How are you going to use the mp3, while working out, general use? Hard-drive player should not be used for vigorous work-out, b/c they have hard drives and therefore moving parts. Flash player from samsung, rio, creative, iriver, all stand up well to vigorous work-outs b/c they use flash memory.
-Do more research before you buy an mp3 player, and forget about the MPIO, there are just too many other more established manufacturers of flash players.
dell has one more gb than the 4gb ipod 4 the same price
if you want the most storage for your dollar, stay away from the ipod. you can get the same storage or more for much less money. ipods are overpriced. if you're into the whole 'think different' thing and don't mind paying the entrance fee, go for it. but if you're more interested in value, look at devices from Creative, Rio, and IRiver.
i bought into the creative labs 10gb mp3 player and found myself quickly kicked to the curb when i became a mac guy. well F@#k me for getting out of windows hell, but creative left me high and dry. i looked for support and drivers for my apple and they gave me the "oh well!" line. the way i see it, if you make an mp3 player that would only stop working if hit by a nuclear bomb, then you better be ready to support us "cult"urally diverse users.
funny how itunes is soo willing and friendly to all the mp3 players out there, but everyone is refusing to be friendly to itunes. folks.....it's just a portal for buying and sorting music. does not mean i am an ipod fan.
creative.....maybe not:(
