There are many cameras that do macro well.
But.....need more information.
Prices for digital cameras go from way-down-here to way-up-there.
What price range would you prefer.
Macro means different things to different people.
What is the average size of the object you want to photograph.

I take pictures of small objects for sale on Ebay like, Jewelry & Swarovski crystals. I had a cheap Polaroid 1300 digital camera that took great close up pictures but upgraded and now the more expensive updated camera does not take good close up pictures.
