college notebook

by spongejen - 5/24/05 8:42 PM

hi.

i have been considering notebook computers for my college studies next year, and am strongly leaning towards an apple powerbook (the 15 inch combo drive). i have been to apple stores and tried them out, and i really like them. the only qualms i have are because i have been a windows user forever. i used macs in elementary school, but that was a while ago...i am confident it wouldn't be a huge problem for me to switch though.

my main question is whether anyone has had any major problems with an apple. i have had so many problems with my various windows computers and performance that i am fed up, but if apple is no better for a lot of people, i'm not sure what to buy.

thanks, any insight would be appreciated.

Get a Mac

Get a mac...they're great for college (all my science labs use them), and best of all, you can't game on them, which leaves you more time to STUDY!

As a side note:
Some of my friends have had problems using Safari and online class registration, so you may want to use FF to do that instead.
