I have been all over the place trying to find an answer to this question... I have a Sony Net MD player and I have recorded some live music onto some mini discs. I want to be able to take these recordings and put it onto my computer, and eventually burn it onto an audio cd. Sony's SonicStage software will not even let me transfer the file onto my playlist and I am going nuts with this. Please help...anyone...
Thanks.
I have the same problem and have been searching for an answer. No luck yet.
I have the same problem in that I can't get a live recording from my Net MD to my computer to then get to an audio CD. Did you get any answers?
It's a stupid copyright restriction thing. And I know, it's stupid... it's your own field recording you're trying to transfer - there is no copyright to protect!
The only way to transfer the recordings to your computer will be to record them by analog means; use the headphone jack as a line-out.
There are ways to copy the recordings from the new Hi-MD format to PC, but it is impossible with NetMD.
How do you copy recorded audio from Sony Hi-MD to PC? I read somewhere that even with Hi-MD, you have to tranfer audio files through analogue (mic line-in).
