I want to suscribe to Dish or Direct TV but the condo's rule don't allows any outside antenna. Some idea how to do about this matter?
thank you
Hi, if you live within 10 miles of one or more broadcast towers (check with antennaweb.org) you could buy an indoor antenna. Choices:
Terk HDTVi, cost $30 to $40 We bought one, used within 10 miles of broadcast towers, works great
Winegard Sharpshooter, to be released this month, supposed to be even better.
What antenna are you talking about the dish or the local antenna. If you are talking about the dish you need to inform your condos that it is against the law to prohibit the install of a sat dish 18" or smaller. You can go to the FCCs website to find out more, I run into this problem all the time and I have a printout that I hand to whoever is giving me the problem and walk away. Good luck!!
You should find that FCC guideline for me!
My mobil home lookes like a police station 3 dishes 50" outside and f.m. antennas., Well there is a new condo doen the street from me and I notice many of the balconys have a dish on a trypod. I have the dish 811 hi-def system and its awsome. I pay $45.00 per month for basic= the hi-def package + VOOM I use a d.v.i. cable to my t.v. and optical audio for my 5.1 sound also Mabey you can use rebbit ears because the dish system has a great over the air hi-def tuner in closing you can buy a dish that looks like a rock mabey you can dress it uo with flowers etc. have fun stewart norrie
