Copying outlook appointment

by RdRunner - 5/6/05 12:10 PM

I would like to be able to "cut and paste" an appointment on the calendar (monthly). I have standard appointments/events that happen at different times of the month but the same thing. So I can't use the repeat appointment function.

I tried to select an appt to copy it and paste it but it did not work.

Any ideas?

Thanks.

Windows has some "stock" mouse actions that I always try.

Click = click on item (but release the button)

Used to select an item. You know this one.

Click and hold is used to select and get ready to drag to another place. Release drops it. This is the MOVE action.

Click+Copy Drag is the same but you hold down the CONTROL (Cntrl?) key then drag the item, release the mouse button then the control key.
