Zen Micro battery draining

by stephendedalus - 4/26/05 4:08 PM

I already looked in the Creative forum, and the only thread about this there is about 7 million pages long and doesn't have any answers. I upgraded to the latest firmware after I got it on Sunday, have used it about an hour or two each day and recharged it to full every night, and yesterday found that overnight it had gone down to two bars and now today it started up down to one bar. A lot of people have reported sound coming from the headphones when the player is off or the sound of the harddrive from the player itself when off, I have neither of these. My player is working okay otherwise. Any ideas?

I have read that the battery draining is because thre player goes into standby mode so that it can start up quickly. I think that I also read that the new softwar alows you to manage the standby/off mode.
