I would like to stop the file icons from loading in Windows Explorer. I have several very large directories with recipes, jokes, etc. When I click on these directories, it takes forever for Windows Explorer to generate all these icons and that's a real annoyance. I really don't use the icons to look for file types anyway, I usually sort by type, or alphabetically, or by date to find what I'm looking for. I'm running an Athlon 64/3200 with 1.5GBytes of memory, so the system isn't that slow. Anyone have any suggestions on how I can get rid of these icons & just have the filenames displayed?
Thanks in advance,
