Windows Media Player skipping

by stephendedalus - 4/13/05 2:31 PM

Recently, a handful of Windows Media videos have been skipping on my computer, not constantly, just a blip every 15 or so seconds. It's bothering me because it never happened before with this type.
Pentium 4 3.0 GHz
1024 MB DDR-SDRAM
Integrated Intel GMA900 graphics
XP Professional
Newest Windows Media Player 10

Any ideas?

No known do-this cure.

I end up using another media player like MEDIA PLAYER CLASSIC from http://sourceforge.net/projects/guliverkli/

It's a common problem and Microsoft seems to have this as a work in progress.
