"Toshiba Pocket PC e740 WiFi" Problems; What should be done?

With all of the negative commentary about the problems of data loss with this device, and the apparent overwhelmingly consistent view that Toshiba simply doesn’t care about righting the inherent wrongs i.e. poor or no support for the problem, I would like to hear what the world has to say.

If one reviews the Toshiba Pocket PC e740 WiFi user opinions at CNET, there are few, if any, really positive things said about reliability and everyday functionality. Seems that many think the "package" sounds/sounded nice, as did I, but no realization of that "package" occurred. Along with my wretched personal experiences with Toshiba support on this issue, I can’t imagine that I am alone in wanting to do something about this sham.
