I purchased the SAMSUNG 710N-2 from PC NATION and received an older/discontinued model "SAMSUNG 710N" (no -2) I sent an Email to customer service PCNATION.com.for the clarification. THINK TWICE BEFORE DEALING WITH PC NATION.COM
I also heard the same story happend with ZIPZOOMFLY.COM
What kind of order confirmation did they give you? And didn't they respond to your email?
Does anyone else have any info about this kind of thing happening at these or other sites? (I know that Dell is facing a lawsuit for not shipping what they promised, but I'm assuming that they're just too big to get people's orders straight.) Purposely shipping something different from what was ordered is fraud.
I had the same experience with newegg.com. I was told to send mine back. Once they got it back they told me they are the exact same monitor only one has a round base and one has a square base. I don't know if it is true or not. They wrapped my box back up and sent it to me again. Geez - thanks for that timely advice newegg.
